ASOM SISHU SAHITYA NYAS is committed to fostering education and spreading knowledge among children by publishing books and periodicals on literature, art, science, and other enriching subjects. The trust provides stipends, prizes, awards, and royalties to encourage authors to create meaningful and entertaining works that promote knowledge and information. It also offers elementary education and training in arts, sculptures, handicrafts, and related fields, while supporting authors and artists in preparing and publishing children’s literature and journals.
The trust undertakes the establishment and management of schools, libraries, hostels, reading rooms, and other institutions to further its mission. To inspire learning and cultural engagement, it organizes debates, competitions, seminars, and contests that promote education, art, and culture. Additionally, the trust sponsors, encourages, and assists in writing, editing, compiling, translating, and publishing books for children, ensuring their circulation and availability. With a vision to create impactful initiatives, ASOM SISHU SAHITYA NYAS also aims to establish a children’s museum and undertake other necessary works to further its objectives and benefit young minds.
